Question Little Maintenance!!!

Hey, I have played Guild Wars for about 5 yrs off & on, & I have seen many builds come & go in a flash. I have looked at PvXwiki over & over, & I have never really liked any of the builds they vent/approve of, they all require way too much maintenance, you always have to watch this or do this in a certain order, & they is all & great for those who can handle that much. Me I just want to setup my IAS, any buff I need to deal more dmg, & chain the 1-3 atk skills I bring with my, & redo the IAS, or buff, if need be. I play as a War, Ranger, or Sin most of the time, with switching up when I feel i need a change. The Sin I have no issues with, I run Flashing Blades [OwNj0od8ISOMMMHM6PSQ1g+DjEA] which works great I only have 2-3 skills i need to redo during battle & the rest of the I chain together my 3 atk skills, easy as pie for me. For my War, & Ranger I can't seem to find any builds that work like that, I have tried to make my own, but its so hard to run what I want too I always run into a wall. I really like my Ranger so I tend to play that the most. If any1 has any ideas, please let me know ok Thxs

Look up Sabway. This requires no input from you during combat.

Thanks, I did & that is for heros only, I dont have any trouble with them, it my Char I need a build for & that gives me no ideas....

----------

I have tried B/P, Dagger Pet Ranger, Scythe Ranger, I found for my ranger i just like to stand there & let the arrows, fly most of the time, I do use my interupts, but I miss half the time, so I dont use them that much, I let my heros do that..

----------

I juist want a general PvE build to do quests, & mishs with, mayb to VQ a HM area....

If you're running sabway, just pretend you re a minion and hit stuff.

More seriously, EarthySaker, Hundred Blades and all the other nice dammage skill available to you dont inspire you any build of your own?

Add an Ele/Order hero to your party and enjoy blowing stuff up

Yea I get ideas, but none of them seem to get the job done, just seem toget into battle & dont do enough dmg, or take too much dmg when I play my War, so I am gonna take a break from him, & see what I can do with my Ranger for awhile. I like the concept of B/P & I have played around with those skills, & came up with some decent builds but then again I have too much to keep track of, & too many skills I dont use. I really like the skill Expert's Dexterity, & have tried that out to little success...
---

I wanted to try this skill set up but I think it just seems dumb to use these skills but let see what ya'll think ok: NRA, Expert's Dexterity, Expert Focus, Comfort Animal, Call of Protection, & or Symbiotic Bond, then 2-3 atk skills.....

Using NRA and Expert's Dexterity at the same time doesn't do much for you (IAS caps at 33%). Choose one or the other depending on whether you care if your pet attacks faster or not. If you really want, replace NRA with Call of Haste or Feral Aggression so you're both at 33%. You probably don't need symbiotic bond to keep your pet up either, Call of Protection combined with their innate 33% damage resistance in PvE will be enough. Maybe Scavenger's Strike as one of your attacks so you keep up your energy.

If you use NRA for regen, try going /mo for mending.

But seriously.

You are looking for a bar that requires you to set up a few things and then spam 2-3 keys? I guess you could try Volley/Triple Shot/Distracting Shot/Save Yourselves!/Dwarven Stability/Lightning Reflexes/Infurtiating Heat {e}/Asura Summon

It's a simple and straightforward bar that I play when I feel really lazy, but if you like that style, be my guest.

I'm a Ranger player for 5 years. Forget bow and Ranger skills.
Instead use your expertise for lowcost spirits

Build: [OggicxiM1JeNtLaT6KactMxMBA]

Weapon: (Energy +20)

Use skills 1,2 to do the damage for you,
skills 3,4,5 to take down your target and
6,7,8 for energy.

For your warrior I would reccomend a Warriors endurance with axe skills. No energy problems ever and enough adrenaline to fuel save yourselves and whirlwind attack.
My ranger uses a combination of barrage or glass arrows. I am trying a dagger ranger and that can pump out some nice damage too thanks to SoH and death blossom.

I'm sort of like the OP when it comes to ordinary day-to-day PvE playing. I tend to use simple, easy to use 'builds' that I can use in various 'altered states' without much hassle. Also, since I play mostly with 7 heroes these days, I sort of look upon myself as being the commander of the group, in charge of targeting, flagging, micro-managing, etc.
Therefore my Ranger runs this uncomplicated build:

Pain Inverter, Distracting Shot, Barrage, Technobabble, NRA, Maiming Strike, Comfort Animal, Rebirth.

Mainly, I just blast away with Barrage while leaving most of the interrupting, degen'ing, etc, to the heroes. Also, the build is rather poor on energy management so I tend to use PI, Techno, and DS only on specific targets at the start of the battle. Maiming Strike is primarily used against foes that are chasing the squishies.

I use a Sundering Shortbow of Fortitude (Ashlyn's), with a Zealous shortbow, a Recurve bow and a longbow (for pulling) as backup.

Part of me thinks you're actually serious.

If you just wants pure damage, and are a Ranger, you should just have a hero maintain Strength of Honor on you. Sure, that requires some micro initially, but after that, you're good to go. If you want to do less still, then, yeah run Sabway. It's not fantastic, but it keeps you covered and you can be lazy =D.

SoH only affects melee damage.

And SoS is a good option for Rangers.

Just ... run something you enjoy.

Several good, no-maintenance hero-builds are available, Sab's been mentioned, add two rits (SoS, ST or SoGM) and two mesmers and you're ready to roll. Or replace sabs with Discord, or ....

Note, however, that the OP was looking for low-maintenance builds for himself, not heroes.
